CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE
1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted 1 c. sugar 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa 1/8 tsp. salt 2 large eggs, slightly beaten 1 (5.33 oz.) can evaporated milk 2 tsp. vanilla extract 3/4 c. chopped pecans 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
In mixing bowl, mix together butter, sugar, cocoa and salt until well combined. Add eggs. Beat by hand or medium speed of mixer for 2 minutes. Stir in milk and vanilla. Fold in pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. Cool on rack.
