I am searching for a recipe that my family always called, "Johnny Bull Pudding. It was made with beef suet, flour, and muscat raisins. It was boiled for hours in a sack, then baked to make it brown. A sauce was put on the slices which was a white sauce. I think corn starch was the base; but nothing I ever made from cornstarch tasted like it. I have always thought is was an English recipe; but I am not sure.
