Boiled Custard for Snow Pudding
l quart milk 1/2 tsp flour 2 eggs, yolks separated-reserve the egg whites for later. 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/2 C. Sugar
Combine milk and beaten egg yolks. Mix flour and sugar and stir into milk mixture. Stir over med heat or in a double boiler until the mixture is thickened enough to coat a spoon. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Let the mixture cool. Beat 2 egg whites stiff and fold into custard. Cover with plastic wrap and chill.
