My family loves this dessert, it was published in a local paper several years ago and won a first place prize for the lady who submitted it. PRETZEL DESSERT 1 cup crushed pretzel crumbs 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 1 stick margarine, melted 3 packets sweet'n low 1 (8oz.) package cream cheese 1 cup sugar 1 can pineapple pie filling (If not available in your area, use a can of crushed pineapple in its' own juice) Bring to a boil in a small saucepan and thicken with a bit of cornstarch mixed into a small amount of the juice. 1 envelope dream whip, whipped according to package Mix pretzel and graham crumbs with sweetener, add melted margarine.Press in a 13x9 baking dish. Chill overnight in the fridge. Cream the cheese and sugar, fold in the whipped dream whip. Add the pie filling, pour onto the crust and chill until ready to use.
