1/2 cup salad oil 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon marjoram 1 teaspoon thyme 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 clove garlic -- minced 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup parsley -- minced Combine all ingredients and marinate sirloin steak or lamb, cut into chunks, overnight. Thread skewers with beef, bell pepper, onion quarters, canned whole potatoes (raw, fresh potatoes won't cook well *and* tend to fall off the skewer), mushrooms and tiny, whole tomatoes.
