Hi Janine, Here's a recipe from a newsgroup that may be close. Mock Chicken Legs Forum: alt.cooking-chien Date: 02/28/2000 Author: Mary 1/4 lb ground pork 1 lb ground veal 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 TBs green pepper, chopped 1/4 cup grated pineapple, drained 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 TBs water 1/4 cup bacon drippings Mix meat, seasonings, green pepper and pineapple thoroughly. Divide into 8 parts and shape like chicken legs around wooden skewers. Roll in bread crumbs, then in egg mixed with water and again in bread crumbs. Let stand in refrigerator 30 minutes.
