Hello Genene, Hopefully someone will have the recipe you're looking for. In the meantime, here's a recipe that you may be able to convert by filling the center with the filling you descibe instead of the jelly and adding a chocolate glaze. Swedish Bird Nest Cookies Source: Cookbook USA 1 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed) 2 egg yolks 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 egg whites 1 c. finely chopped walnuts Mix butter, brown sugar, egg yolks and vanilla well. Blend in flour and salt and mix it all together by hand. Roll into 1 inch balls. Dip into egg whites and roll into nuts. Make a thumbprint in center of each. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
