This recipe does not have hamburger howeever it is close to what you described.
Mexican Corn Bread
2 eggs 1 cup cream style canned corn 1 cup sour cream 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped 2/3 salad oil 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese 3 tablespoons sharp Cheddar cheese 3 tsp baking powder 1 1/2 cup plain corn meal
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Beat the eggs and sour cream oil and salt. Sift baking powder with corn meal; add to egg mixture. Add corn and peppers. Mix pour hald of the mixture into a hot greased skillet. Sprinkle with half of the cheese. Add the remaining mixture and sprinkle with remainder of cheese. Bake 30-35 minutes. Serves 6-8 people. 1 1/2 cups plain corn meal
