Pound Cake
(my grandmom made this)
1 cup butter 1/2 tsp baking soda 1-1/2 tsp vanilla 6 eggs 3 cups sugar 1/2 tsp either lemon or almond extract (you can leave out if desired) 1 cup sour cream 3 cups flour
Cream butter and sugar till fluffy. Add baking soda and extracts. Add sour cream. Beat in 2 eggs at a time. Blend in flour 1 cup at a time.
Bake in preheated oven 325 degrees 1-1/2 hr to 1-3/4 hour.
