Green Chili Sauce:

1 pound fresh green chiles, roasted and peeled
or 5 4oz. cans green chiles
1 clove garlic
1/2 small onion
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups water
2 cups beef or chicken broth Directions

Remove the seeds and stems from the chilis and chop.
Mince garlic and chop the onion. In a large skillet heat
the oil and cook the garlic and onions until limp. Stir in
the chilis, salt, thyme and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook, stirring, over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add the water and broth and cook for about 10 minutes.
Dissolve the cornstarch in a little water and add.
When thickened, salt to taste and eat it up.

This is great on eggs, beans, and rice. You can add ground beef, pork, or turkey and it makes a great stew.
