Spritz Cookies
These are from my Hungarian grandmother's recipe - not too sweet and very tender.
1 lb. salted butter (or 1 lb. sweet butter and 1/4 tsp. salt) 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 4 cups flour
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Gradually add flour and beat until combined.
Preheat oven to 400°.
Load dough into cookie press and press onto ungreased baking sheets, decorating with sprinkles or colored sugars of your choice. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, or until browned to your liking.
