PRUNE TORTE
1 lb. prunes (boil until soft and pit; reserve juice)
Dough: 1/4 lb. butter 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Mix like pie dough; roll and line torte pan or press the dough in pan.
1 c. sugar 1/4 lb. walnuts juice of 1 lemon and little prune juice 1 lb. cooked prunes Mix together. 3 eggs, beaten 2 Tbsp. sugar 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla
Mix and pour over prune mixture. Fill crust and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream.
