6 Week Muffins
1 (15 oz.) pkg. raisin bran 5 cups flour 5 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons allspice 3 cups sugar 4 eggs 1 cup vegetable oil 1 quart buttermilk 2 teaspoons vanilla
In a large bowl, add first 4 ingredients. Beat eggs, add oil,buttermilk and vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir well. Put batter in a plastic container with a tight fitting lid. Put date on container. Use 1/2 cup batter for each muffin. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until top springs up. |
