3/4 C butter softened
l/4 C. sugar
1 3/4 C flour
powdered sugar

Mix together butter and sugar. Stir in flour. Mixture will be dry and crumbly. With clean hands pinch mixture together until it all sticks together. Shape into a ball. Sprinkle clean work surface with flour. Place dough on surface and roll out to 1/4" thickness. Cut out with cookie cutter or jar lid. Place 2 l/2" apart on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown on edges about l0-15 min. Sprinkle powdered sugar over cookies until lightly covered.
