Probably 20+ years ago,circa 1976, "Gourmet" magazine did an article on sorbet including several recipes, one of which was for Strawberry Sorbet. It could not have been more simple: sugar, water, berries, lemon juice. It's the proportions I can't remember ... and I parted with all my old magazines (40 years worth!) when I moved. Does anyone still have this "oldie but goodie?" Thanks. And someone tell me how to say "thank you" when someone responds to a query -- last time I did this I got exactly what I was looking for but could NOT figure out how to say thank you! Cheers ....
