This recipe is from Quick Cooking and it is soooo good and easy.
1 prebaked italian bread shell crust 2 cups (8oz) shredded cheddar cheese divided ( I use mexican style taco cheese) 1 jar (11oz) salsa 1 cup cuped cooked chicken
Place bread shell on an ungreased 12" pizza pan. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup of cheese. Top with salsa, chicken and remaining cheese. Bake at 450 for 8-10 min until cheese is bubbly.
I like to make my own crust and here is the recipe for it: This makes 2 crusts
3 cups flour 1/4 cup sugar 2 packets of yeast 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp garlic salt 1 cup water 1/4 cup olive oil
Combine dry ingredients. Stir in water with fork. Knead it then let it rest for 10 min. Divide in half. Roll out or press into oiled pizza pans. Brush top with oil and prick with fork. Bake at 7-10 min at 400-425 degrees. Add toppings and bake. Serve with a little sour cream.
