My mother used to make these cookies when I was growing up called molasses cry baby cookies. They were soft, and chewy and had a powdered sugar glaze. My mother can't find the recipe. She does remember it does have black coffee in it. and I remember it had baking soda and vinegar in it, because I got to mix the two, and the mixture would erupt like a volcano. If anyone can help me revive an old family tradition, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Donna
