A friend makes a round thick cakey but moist dark chocolate cookie. You could probably roll it into a ball it's moist enough. It has a thumbprint in it that is filled with chocolate and a cherry sits in the center. I thought it was a marachino cherry years ago. This last Xmas he used a canned pie cherry.

He won't share the recipe. He's made it for me twice. Once about 10 years ago and again this year after I begged for the recipe.
