Making chocolate covered strawberries is very simple.
First, rinse your berries and pat them dry with paper towels. Melt your favorite chocolate (white, milk, or semi-sweet)in a double boiler or in stainless steel bowl placed over a pot of boiling water. when the chocolate is melted, dip the strawberries in one at a time, holding them by the green tops. Place them on a sheet of wax paper or foil and refrigerate.
To make them look really fancy, I first dip them in milk chocolate and refrigerate. Then I melt white chocolate and using a fork, I drizzle the white onto the brown in a zig-zag pattern. You could also do the reverse, dipping them in white and drizzling them with dark! Good luck! |
