Jelly slice

1 8oz packet sweet biscuits, crushed. 3 oz belted butter. Combine crushed biscuits and melted butter. Press into a shallow tupperware box.
Mix together, 1 can condensed milk, 1/2 cup lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of gelatine (dissolved in a little hot water.
Spread this over the biscuits. Refrigerate while making the jelly topping. Before pouring the jelly over the filling, run a fork over top to create lines (helps hold the jelly)
Make up a jelly (jello?) (any flavour you like, raspberry or lemon is good) according to the directions, only leave out a small amount of water so the mixture will be a little firmer. Cool the jelly and pour over the base.
Refrigerate until set. Cut into squares or diamond shapes. This is a favourite slice in Australia
