This is the sauce which I was taught to make by an Italian family. It makes a lot and what is left over can be frozen.
1 pound lean ground beef 1 large onion or two small 1 clove garlic, minced 2 Tablespoons tomato paste 1/2 cup red wine 1/2 cup milk rosemary, salt and pepper to taste.
Brown the ground beef in a non-stick pan with the onion and garlic. Add rosemary (I usually add about 2 teaspoons). Add tomato sauce, wine and milk. Slimmer about an hour. Serve over spaghetti or other pasta.
