This is a old recipe from my Mom. Its very rich and creamy. She always served it with homemade chocolate sauce.

2 eggs, beaten
2 C. Milk
3/4 C. sugar

1 TBSP vanilla
2 C. whipping cream

Combine eggs, milk and sugar in a large pan and cook over low until it begins to bubble-stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and let cool. Add vanilla and whipping cream. Pour into a ice cream freezer and
freeze following freezer directions.

Chocolate Sauce

Put milk, chocolate and salt in a double boiler. Cook over boiling water stirring constantly until thick, about 10 min. Remove from heat, add hot water, amount depending on the desired consistency. Cool and add vanilla.
