Hi Sandy; Here's the recipe you're looking for. SOUTHWEST CHEESE SAUCE (for Ruby Tuesday Sonora chicken Pasta) 1 lb. Velveeta cheese or a 16 oz. jar of cheez Whiz 1/2 cup heavy cream 2 tbsp. minced red chili pepper 2 Tbsp.green chili pepper 2 Tbsp. minced onion 1/2 clove garlic minced Combine the cheese with the cream in a small saucepan over med/low heat. Stir the cheese often until it meltsand becomes smooth. Saute the chili peppers, onion and garlic in 2 tsp. olive oil for a couple of minutes then 2 Tbsp. water to the pan so the peppers do not scorch. Simmer another 2 minutes or till the water has cooked off. When the cheese is smooth, add the sauteed vegetables, 1/4 tsp.salt, 2 tsp. sugar, 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar and 1/4 tsp. cumin. Leave on low heat, stirring occasionally, until ready to serve. |
