Val's recipe sounds very good.

Another tool for keeping the bread from getting too moist is to spread a very thin layer of butter or margarine on each slice of bread to "shield" it from the tuna salad.

You can also put sprouts, cheese slices, and/or lettuce leaves (patted dry) next to the bread slices.

If you are making sandwiches to be eaten much later, I suggest you place the tuna filling between two pieces of parchment paper or waxed paper(between the two slices of bread) while transporting the sandwich.
