Hi Ruth - here is a basic recipe for hard sauce:
Hard Sauce
1/2 cup Butter - softened 2 cups Confectioners'sugar - sifted 1/4 cup Brandy
Cream sugar and butter in a bowl. Add brandy a little at a time while beating. Beat until you have a creamy consistency. Chill before serving. (If you don't want to use alcohol, replace with a couple of teaspoons of vanilla and a little cream or milk) |
