The cookie used is a chocolate striped shortbread cookie. Several cookies companies make these. I believe the piece of candy that forms the body is called an "old fashioned vanilla creme". I usually find these in paper bags at Wal Mart. The beak is the candy corn. I use chocolate chips for the feet. I use chocolate frosting to "glue" all the pieces on. Let the body dry well before trying to put feet and beak on. Hope this is complete enough for you to follow. They are cute and children will enjoy helping make them.
