Sweet Spicy Lamb Curry
2 carrots, chopped 1 onion, chopped 2 tablespoons mild curry paste or powder 500g lamb shoulder chops (1 pound) 450ml (3/4 pint) chicken stock 1 medium apple, peeled & chopped 1 peach, stoned, chopped 1 tablespoon tomato puree (or sauce or paste) 1 tablespoons lemon juice salt and ground black pepper to taste 1 teas allspice or mixed spice
Put all in crockpot, vegies on bottom, chops and the rest on top, slowly cook 6-8 hours - thicken with cornflour or flour if desired. If you want this to be sweet, add sugar to taste at end - i usually add 1 - 2 tablespoons or honey or syrup. Great if you like sweet curries.
