I got this recipe from the Morton Recipe Collection.
4 lg. cucumbers 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup white vinegar 4 teaspoons minced fresh dill 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Peel, seed and coarsely grate cucumber. Drain in strainer. Place in a medium bowl. Mix remaining ingredients. Cover & refrigerate 24 hours.

I posted this on the canning board. Here it is again.
Hot Dog Relish 5 cups ground cucumbers 3 cups ground onions 3 cups ground cut up celery 2 hot red peppers ground up 2 sweet red peppers ground up 3/4 cup salt 1 1/2 quarts water soak over night then in morning drain off all water. Then bring to a boil the following ingredients: 3 cups sugar 2 tsp mustard seed 2 tbsp celery seed 1 quart vinegar then add the vegetables and boil 10 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
