Hello,
Here's one recipe with mayonnaise and one without for you:
Liver Pate
1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 (3 inch) dill pickle 1 green onin 1 lb. liver sausage (Liverwurst or Braunsweiger) 3 drops Tabasco sauce 1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.) 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
Blend first 5 ingredients in blender until smooth. Pack into pint bowl lined with plastic. Chill until set. Turn onto plate. Remove plastic. Frost with cream cheese. Coat with nuts. Serve with crackers.
Mock Liver Pate Makes 2 cups
8 oz. cream cheese 8 oz. liver sausage (Liverwurst or Braunsweiger) 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Dash of salt and pepper
Combine softened cream cheese and liver sausage until well blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Place in Saran Wrap lined bowl and chill. To serve, unmold on tray and surround with crackers or bread rounds.
