Susan... we tried your french bread this morning.. during the kneading i added 2 additional tsp of flour to get rid of stickiness.. the loaf rose higher than my original 1-1/2 recipe.. that fell in with about 33 minites to go.. i reduced your sugar to 3/4 tsp and the yeast to 1-3/4 tsp machine yeast. 5 minutes to go and we will pop it out of the pan and eagerly await the cooling period.. my step daughter is waiting with her knife and pot of spread... thank you and all who responded
