This was a staple at my house when I was growing up, though my mother usually used hot dogs. It really is good.
Bourbon Keilbasa Bites The alcohol in the bourbon cooks away and mellows with the long simmering time. This was also a big hit with the picky kids.
3 lb. Keilbasa, cut into 1/2-inch slices 1 cup ketchup 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup bourbon
Combine all the ingredients and simmer over very low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with toothpicks.
