ONION COOKIES

3 large onions
1 cup oil
1 tablespoon salt (use Kosher if you have it)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
4 cups flour
2 tablespoons poppy seeds

________________________________

Cut onion very thin. Add all other ingredients.

Roll very thin on floured board.

Cut into rounds or squares.

Bake in 400 degree oven 10-15 minutes, until
golden brown.

Yield: 3 dozen
