This is a very delicious baked ziti. My family and I really liked it and I will make it again soon. I hope it works out the same for you.
Mr. Food's Better Baked Ziti 1/2 pound ziti macaroni 15 ounces ricotta cheese 3 Cups mozzarella (about 12 ounces), shredded and divided 3 Cups spaghetti sauce, divided 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook ziti until barely tender. Drain and place in large bowl. Mix the ricotta cheese and half the mozzarella with the ziti.
Grease a 9" x 13" pan. Cover bottom of pan with half of the spaghetti sauce. Spoon the ziti mixture into the pan, cover with the remaining spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and the rest of the mozzarella. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until cheese melts and is golden
Note: I halved the recipe and baked it in my 2 qt. Corning ware casserole. It was a better size for a small family meal than the large 9" x 13" baking pan. I used the Prego Traditional spaghetti sauce.
