trying to make the sourdough bread recipe that uses potato flakes in the starter. Haven't had much success. Some recipes call for active yeast to be added to starter, some don't. Also not sure what kind of flour to use, all purpose,bread or self rising. Anyone that can help it would be greatly appreciated, I used to make this bread years ago but since lost the starter so am starting from scratch. feel free to email me at if you have any advice to give. thanks and hope someone can answer my questions.
