Sweet & Sour Chicken Nuggets Serves 4 I usually make 1 1/2 recipes. These are real good. Jo
1 med green pepper cut in chunks 1large onion cut in chunks 1 to 2 Tablespoons oil 1 can [14- 1/2 oz.] chicken broth 1/2 cup pancake syrup 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1 tablespoon soya sauce 1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks 2 to 3 tablespoons cornstarch 2 1/2 cups frozen chicken nuggets (thawed) Hot cooked rice
In a frying pan saute onion& green pepper in oil till crisp tender.Remove & keep warm,add broth,syrup,vinegar & soya & bring to a boil. Drain pineapple reserving juice,set pineapple aside. Combine cornstarch & juice till smooth gradually add to broth mixture. Bring to a boil cook & stir 2 minutes till thickened.Add chicken nuggets& cook for 2 minutes. Stir in the pineapple & sauted vegetables & heat through. Serve over hot rice.
