Spiedini is a regional recipe unique to the St. Louis area? The recipe that I posted for Spiedi Marinade and Spiedies is, as far as I know, unique to the Southern Tier area of New York State - southeast of the Finger Lakes, just north of Pennsylvania. While they are similar to shish kabobs, people in that area of NY State, insist they are different, I suppose because of the way they are eaten and the long marinating (days) in the tart, piquant sauce or marinade. I was thinking about this last night and decided to ask you about the chicken spiedini. That, too, sounds like a wonderful recipe:-)
