One of the appetizers that we take to functions and parties that we NEVER have leftovers of is Ham Roll Ups.
Ham Roll Ups: 1 12 or 16 oz. pack ham (the long sandwich kind) 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 2 bunches green onions
Lay each piece of ham out. Spread each piece with the cream cheese. Lay 1 green onion across the cream cheese. Roll up so that the whole piece is still long. Secure with toothpick in several places. Cut into 1/2 inch pieces. Because you use the toothpicks, that makes them super easy to serve. Use decorative toothpicks to snaz it up a bit.
Another favorite it spinach dip. The recipe is on the back of the Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix (the dry mix). It calls for frozen chopped spinach, sour cream, mayo (I think), water chesnuts. This is usually served with something called Hawaiian Bread (it is just a sweet dough--nothing in it like fruit or anything), but I usually serve mine with crackers. There is only an empty bowl left when this is taken.
Another super quick and easy recipe is the Triscuit pizzas. Take Triscuit crackers, spread with spaghetti sauce, sprinkle with favorite toppings, sprinkle with cheese. Place in oven for about 3 or 4 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve.
Another great hit is dip and veggies. The dip that we always use is a 16 oz. container of sour cream with 1 whole packet of dry Lipton Onion Soup mix. Mix together and refridgerate overnight (so that the dried onions can soften). Stir well before serving. Put in a nice decorative bowl and surround it with veggies of your choice.
Fruit trays are also nice. Use 1-16 oz. container of cool whip and 1-3 oz. pkg. of ANY 1 FLAVOR dry jell-o. Mix together. Chill to combine flavors. Stir well before serving.
Hope some of this will help in some way. Hope your party goes well.
