This is a recipe that i have made so many times until my paper where is printed is about worn out and very dirty. Guess will print again after posting this recipe...ha ha
Brownie Sheet Cake
1 cup water 1 cup margarine or butter 1/4 cup cocoa 2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 eggs 1/2 cup buttermilk
Blend water, margarine and cocoa. Heat to boil, blend in next 4 ingredients.
Stir in eggs one at a time. Add buttermilk and mix well. Pour into greased sheet cake pan (9 x 13).
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Spread frosting on while warm.
FROSTING RECIPE AS FOLLOWS: 1/3 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup margarine 1/4 cup cocoa 1 pound powdered sugar 1 cup chopped pecans
Heat milk and margarine to boil. Pour over cocoa and powdered sugar and beat till creamy. Stir in chopped pecans.
