My mother used to make a cconut frosting that was smothered over a 13x9 inch cooked yellow pan cake and then put under the broiler to brown. I believe that it had butter and pineapple in it. This is something I remember as a child and wonder if there is anyone out there who enjoyed this same wonderful combination I have searched everywhere for the recipe for the frosting and would appreciate any one letting me know how this can be made - or if you might even have an idea what the ingredients might be. Thanks in advancefor any help you can provide.
