Years ago when Orville Redenbacher was just starting out he put out a wonderful recipe booklet and in it were the most amazing recipes. I still have the little book and one recipe in particular I noticed was listed by Karen in N.C. 7/18/98 about Orville Redenbacher's Sister Mabel's Caramel Corn recipe (as listed in the book). The secret to this recipe is fresh ingredients and don't use anything less than real butter. I'm not kidding when I say people could become intoxicated from an overdose of this recipe. Every year I make it and never have I ever come across such an incredible flavor and taste. To bad he died, he had some great recipes. You have it listed as Recipe(tried): Sister Mabel's Super Caramel Corn, Nacho Popcorn... This caramel corn is a gift that people will just sit and devour..endlessly until you smack their hand and try to close the lid. Believe me it's that good.
