Thank you Gladys and Leah for the Cashew Crunch recipe. I do not think it is the right one because of the lemon juice. I believe the only ingredients are sugar, cashews, and butter. I believe my cooking techniques are causing the differences in my finished product and what I can buy in Wisconsin from the Amish. Thanks for thinking of me though and if I solve this problem, are you interested in the result(s)? Jane
