LEMONADE ANGEL DESSERT
1 envelope (1 Tablespoon) unflavored gelatin 1/2 cup sugar dash salt 2 beaten eggs 1/2 cup water 6 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate 14 1/2 oz. can evaporated milk, chilled icy cold and whipped Yellow food coloring (if desired) 1 10-inch angel food cake
Thoroughly mix gelatin, sugar and salt;add eggs and water. Cook and stir till gelatin dissolves and mixture thickens slightly;remove from heat. Stir in lemonade concentrate. Chill till partially set;fold into whipped milk. Add a few drops of yellow food coloring, if desired. Rub the brown crumbs off cake;tear into bite-size pieces. Cover bottom of 10-inch tube pan with thin layer of gelatin mixture. Arrance 1/3 of the cake pieces on top. Pour 1/3 of remaining gelatin over. Repeat layers. Chill until firm. Unmold on serving plate. Makes 12 servings.
