This is to correct my assumption in the previous post about these magazines. I was doing some research and found an article that mentions Christopher Kimball founded the Cook's Magazine at the beginning of the 80's, he sold it and it subsequently folded. He then founded the current Cook's Illustrated Magazine in 1993.
