I originally posted a recipe caled SallY lunn, but I think it was more like a bread...this recipe sounds like a cake...I hope this is what you are looking for! If not, let me know and I will give you one more that I have..Thanks,Tina

Sally Lunn Cake

1 cake yeast
2 Tbsp sugar
1 milk, scalded
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups flour

Put yeast and sugar into a large bowl; pour on lukewarm milk; let set 10 minutes. Beat in butter and eggs. Sift together flour and salt, add to batter. Pout into well greased pans, cover and let ruse until double, about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees. Break into pieces while still warm and serve with butter.
