This is Kellogg's version of that style of snack mix. Perhaps you can adapt it to the ingredients you want to use.

MAPLE PRALINE MIX
5 1/2 cups Kellogg's® Crispix® cereal
1/2 cup pecans, broken into pieces
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 tbs. margarine or butter, melted
2 tsps. vanilla
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1 tb. sesame seeds

1. In a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray, combine Crispix® cereal and pecans. Set aside.
2. In a small bowl, stir together syrup, margarine, vanilla, coconut, and seeds. Pour syrup mixture over cereal and pecans tossing until well coated.
3 Bake at 300°F about 30 minutes stirring twice. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
