Salted Nut Roll
nougat: 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow cream 2 cups powdered sugar
knead until smooth. Roll into one inch lengths and place on waxed paper on a cookie sheet. put in freezer until hard.
chop 4 cups of salted virginia nuts
melt 50 caramels in microwave and add a tsp or two of milk to thin. take rolled nougats from the freezer and dip into the caramel and then roll in the nuts. put back on the cookie sheet and place in the freezer to harden. wrap in caramal/taffy wraps if desired.
