I attended a function last night that had the best cookies in the world!! They were a puffy chocolate cookie. They were slick and shiny on the outside - almost like a meringue would make? maybe? but chewy with nuts on the inside. There were no chocolate chips in them but they were awesome cookies.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
