I haven't cooked eggs in the microwave for years. however, I have done it and its ok.

When kids were pre-teens I would often make a version of egg mc'muffins for them and they would gulp them down as they ran to the bus stop.

I used custard cups or small (muffin size) little baking cups. I seem to remember that I would butter them well. Usually I'd whisk the egg with seasonings and a bit of water or milk and put it in. And I'd zap on medium power. I am afraid you'll have to look in manual/cook book for the amount of power your microwve has. I know its nt long. You can also do this with an unscrambled egg - but I think you prick the yolk with a wooden pick - very gently - first - I seldom did that as it could be messy yolk running out! As the kids were running down the street!

Some friends used to cook their hard-cooked eggs (for egg salad) this way. I never did.

I had/have several browning dishes that you preheat . and they worked well for fried or scrambled eggs.

You have to be very careful not to over nuke or they'll be like rubber.

If your manual/cookbook doesn't give timing and power I would suggest youlook at your public library. Most cook books sections seem to have a supple of micro cook books. Sorry I can't give you any timing.

I use my microwave a lot but really don't do eggs in it any more.
