Use this in place of one can of sweetened condensed milk.

1/2 cup warm water
1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons dry nonfat milk powder
3/4 cup sugar

Place warm water and dry milk in bowl. Mix well. Add sugar. Mix until dissolved.(Setting the bowl in a pan of hot water while stirring the mixture helps the sugar dissolve)
