Peg,
You said in your lavendar cookie recipie that you grow herbs. You also stated to be sure to buy the kind of lavendar for eating and not for crafts in order to avoid poisioning from perservatives. Are there any varieties of Lavendar that you could grow in your garden that are unsafe to eat, or is it simply just the manufacturing process that adds the possible poisons? Many baking recipies that I've seen call for English lavendar, its this the only edible varitey? Any information would be wonderful!
